About Writers	English (USA)
Writers in Conversation is an international open-access online literary journal specialising in interviews, to be published by Flinders Institute for Research in the Humanities, with the first issue due in February 2014. The editors are Gillian Dooley (Flinders University) and Nick Turner (University of Central Lancashire and Edge Hill University). Interviews provide an opportunity for engagement between writers on the one hand and critics and literary scholars on the other, and help ground literary criticism and theory in the reality of creative practice. They are of interest not only to literary and creative writing scholars, but also to many other readers. Writers in Conversation will contribute to the resources available to researchers internationally and to the development of a creative and engaged critical community. Members of the new journal’s Advisory Board are drawn from the international creative and critical literary world, and include poets and novelists Patricia Duncker, Charlotte Wood, Tabish Khair, David Sornig, Chandani Lokuge and Sudesh Mishra. Using Writers
To post a message to all the list members, send email to writers@lists.flinders.edu.au. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Writers
Subscribe to Writers by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
