[Iag-list] Call for EOIs for 2017 State of Australian Cities Conference Hosts

The Australian Cities Research Network (ACRN) invites EOIs from
universities interested in hosting the 2017 State of Australian Cities
SOAC is Australia's largest dedicated conference for multi-disciplinary
research on Australia's cities and urban questions. Established in 2003
SOAC has a reputation for combining high quality research with a policy
engaged ethos and a constructive collegial environment for dialogue on
urban questions in Australia. The conference typically attracts 350
delegates over three days in late-November/early-December. The 2015 SOAC
will be hosted by Griffith University at the Gold Coast on 9-11 December.
The ACRN encourages hosting of SOAC via consortia of institutions typically
with a lead organisation. A SOAC PhD Symposium also runs immediately prior
to the conference proper.
Institutions seeking to enquire about EOI submission should contact the
ACRN convener Jago Dodson via jago.dodson at rmit.edu.au to obtain ARCN bid
