On behalf of the IAG Health Geography Study Group (HGSG), I want to alert you to the HGSG annual workshop in Brisbane Tuesday 11 July 2017. This precedes the IAG conference (12-14 July 2017). The HGSG was established about three years ago within the IAG to promote knowledge sharing and collaboration between researchers or persons interested in place-health across Australia and New Zealand. For more information on the group, see the link below for membership, annual report and newsletters.

The main theme of this year's workshop is the data needs for health geographers and there will be short presentations from key data providers and users from the HGSG community.

The HGSG also welcome abstract submissions for the IAG conference to the Health geography theme under the session title: " The re-emergence of health geography in Australia." Last year we had three health geography sessions during the conference and are looking for similar number again this year.
