The first is to apply to participate in our pre-conference workshop, “Making Sense of the Underground,” which will be held August 27-28 at the University of Wollongong, Australia (in the heart of the “Southern Coal Fields” and 1.5 hours from Sydney). The focus of the workshop will be methodology, and will include opportunities to share research in progress and network with international colleagues. Full applications are due January 1, 2018.
