The NZ Ministry of Transport is organising two events that may be of interest to you:

  1.  Transport Research Colloquium, Wednesday 14 November 2018

  2.  The Transport Knowledge Conference, Thursday 15 November 2018



Transport Research Colloquium

The conference pre-event is designed to connect New Zealand’s transport research community with the various transport agencies, and facilitate conversations about the future of transport research in New Zealand. Representatives from key agencies will be attending. A tentative programme is provided below, and further details are in the attached document. There is no cost for this event.

The Transport Knowledge Conference

The theme for this years’ TKC is ‘understanding and delivering transport outcomes’. Abstracts are invited that respond to the five outcomes: inclusive access, economic prosperity, healthy and safe people, environmental sustainability, resilience and security. Abstracts are due by 5pm Monday 3 September 2018.



Registration for both events will open in early September. Email knowledgehub at transport.govt.nz to register interest, and to be notified when registration opens.
