Short term appointment/contract to help develop professional climate change course.
The Centre for Western Sydney is offering a short term appointment to work in a team to deliver an online training program in a workplace environment. The training will have significant climate change components. It will be pitched at a Certificate IV level of competency.
The appointment will commence as soon as possible. The overall project will conclude by the end of November. 13 weeks work at academic level C is available; with the opportunity, if desired, to convert to a flat contract payment for deliverables. Either way, a lot of the work can be undertaken off-site although there will be some intensive on-site sessions at Parramatta (say 3 x 3-4 days across August, September and October).
The main skill required is proven ability to translate a professional practices framework into learning content and tasks for delivery via online learning platform. Much of this content will be drawn from existing WSU courses and experts with technical development and support provided by the WSU College unit. Note the core role is as an educator and course co-designer. Technical expertise will come from elsewhere.
Enquiries are welcome to me at p.oneill at westernsydney.edu.au<mailto:p.oneill at westernsydney.edu.au>
Cheers
