Subject: [Pesoemails] new book: Bending the Curve: Climate Change Solutions

Dear colleagues,

Please check out this new publication: Bending the Curve: Climate Change Solutions--a textbook (free and available for download) for teaching about climate change from a multidisciplinary perspective. This book is an outcome of the Bending the Curve<https://btc10solutions.ucsd.edu/> initiative of the University of California (which is a spin-off from UC President Janet Napolitano's Carbon Neutrality Initiative).

The book has been published under a Creative Commons license (CC BY 4.0<https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/>), which means that anyone can share, adapt, or redistribute the book as long as they give appropriate credit and indicate if changes were made. Please encourage others to make use of this free open educational resource (OER).

There is also a companion hybrid-course<http://bendingthecurve.ucsd.edu/> which was launched in 6 campuses of the UC system, with partnerships at Stockholm University and the governments of Mexico and California (see https://btcmacarthur.ucsd.edu/<https://btcmacarthur.ucsd.edu/>)
