The Macquarie University Research Fellowship (MQRF) Scheme has opened for formal Expressions of Interest.

Macquarie University will offer up to 10 full-time Research Fellowship positions commencing in 2017. Fellowships will be awarded on a competitive basis and will be fixed-term for three years. Applicants must have been awarded their PhD on or after 1 March 2013, or submit their thesis by 8 August 2016 (or make a convincing case for early career researcher status).

The Department of Geography and Planning is seeking potential applicants.

If you have an interest in applying for a Fellowship in the 2017 round, please send:

1. Your current CV with list of publications, as an email attachment with your surname in the file name.

2. Provisional project title and a very brief (200 word) project description, also as an attachment with your surname in the file name.

to A/Prof Kristian Ruming (kristian.ruming@mq.edu.au) by Friday 6 May 2016.

If the Department is able to sponsor your application, you will be notified by Wednesday 11 May. Sponsored applicants will then be invited to work with their sponsors to develop their Expressions of Interest which must be submitted in their final form by Wednesday 25 May.

It is important that there is a good fit between the research interests of applicants and sponsors.
