Designing Healthy Liveable Cities
is a conference coming up in Melbourne on 19-20 October that will explore how research can be applied to
improve the planning of cities.
The conference is hosted by the NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence in Healthy Liveable Communities, and will showcase the latest research on the key elements of liveable cities. Speakers include Paul Murrain, internationally renowned urbanist, and Jim
Sallis, pioneer in developing the interdisciplinary study of built environment and physical activity.
