I'd like to announce the availability of two PhD scholarships for geographers, planners and those in cognate fields at Western Sydney University.

The Urban Research Program, in the School of Social Sciences and Psychology, champions geography and planning research. We are offering two scholarships for motivated PhD candidates, which are supported by Western Sydney University’s relationship with Liverpool City Council. The PhD projects will investigate the development of Australia’s first Aerotropolis – the Badgerys Creek Aerotropolis – secured by Western Sydney Airport, with the scholarship supported by the Australian Research Council.

The closing date for applications is 31 August 2018.
