Dear all,

Please find attached a call for papers for ‘(Re)Connecting Urban Natures: An interdisciplinary symposium on transforming human-nature relations in cities’ being held at RMIT Europe (Barcelona), 23-26th February, 2020.

Participation involves submitting an abstract, a draft paper and attending in person or via Skype (there are limited places to attend remotely). With around 15-20 participants, the symposium will be structured around short presentations (based on submitted abstracts), activities and discussion. There is no cost to attend and catering will be provided; however, travel and accommodation are self-funded. There is also an option to attend a self-funded writing retreat following the symposium to develop papers for publication (location in Europe TBC).

If you are interested in joining us, please submit a 300-word abstract to ferne.edwards@rmit.edu.au by 20 December, also indicating a preferred theme and if you’ll be attending in person or by distance. Notification of acceptance will be sent in early January.

Best wishes,

Cecily Maller on behalf of the convenors
