G’day/kia ora,
This is a reminder that the abstract submission process
closes on Monday 19th April for the Institute of Australian Geographers/New Zealand Geographical Society 2021 Combined Conference to be held online and in-person at the University of Sydney from 6-9 July, 2021.
Abstracts should be submitted through the portal at
https://www.sydney.edu.au/science/news-and-events/events/iagnzgs2021-conference.html Thanks to those geographers and people from related disciplines who have already submitted abstracts. The conference theme, “Remembering, reimagining geography”, is
offered as an opportunity to critically consider how geography evolved the way it did, its influences on human and more-than-human worlds, and the contribution the discipline can make to more just and sustainable futures. There is still almost one week remaining
in which to submit your abstract. We welcome your participation.
The range of abstracts received to date augers well for a very exciting range of conference presentations. The Organising Committee of the IAG/NZGS 2021 Combined Conference are also pleased to announce a number of engaging keynote speakers,
with more to be confirmed – please check for updates on the conference website at
